  • My clients struggle like you do.

Despite being self-aware, empathetic, and involved in their life outside of work or class, life is really hard. They constantly feel discouraged that they will never live up to their own expectations, or the expectations of their partner, boss, or families.

  • When they look at themselves they don’t seem to recognize who they are anymore.

They aren’t sure what their own interests are because they’re used to accommodating the requests of others. They hope others don’t catch on to how quickly they default to answer questions related to their preferences or desires to maintain the appearance of being "flexible."

  • Their anxiety and shame get in the way of the life they crave.

They find themselves wondering if they are doing enough; if they’re a good enough mother, partner, brother, friend, colleague, or boss. They don’t have the capacity to think about anything else.

  • Before they came to see me, they feared “this is just who I am” and were always finding ways to improve and be “better.”

They've been told they're "too self-aware" for therapy and fear therapy may be a waste of time. They were worried they wouldn’t be able to articulate how difficult these dynamics were. They felt trapped and were worried a therapist wouldn't be able to help.

  • Like my clients, you deserve a safe place to show up as you are.

You don't have to show up to our appointments with a "to-do list" in mind, or having made some big revelation in-between sessions. You don't have to be holding it all together to be worthy of holding space for. It's possible to experience authenticity and find your voice in the process and I'd love to help you get there.
